Systems Engineer - CT
We have an immediate need for a VMware/Windows Systems Engineer with experience supporting Windows and VMware environments. The successful candidate will manage and support various clients which include servers and various infrastructures. In addition other duties include:

  • » Providing support for physical and virtual servers.
  • » Collaborating with project managers and various team members on approved projects.
  • » Working with various clients and team members on projects and related issues
  • » Deploying and supporting cutting edge network infrastructure technology
  • » Assisting with server and storage consolidation in support of the IT Projects.
  • » Providing administration to various Windows Domain Environments and VMware environments.

Experience:

  • » 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • » Strong VMware ESX 3.5, 4.1, and ESXi experience.
  • » Proficient with Windows Server Operating Systems required
  • » Proficient with Exchange 2003-2010.
  • » Previous networking experience required
  • » Virtualization experience a plus
  • » Storage Area Network experience a plus
  • » Previous experience with Barracuda Products, Fortinet UTM Appliances a plus
  • » Ability to be on a rotational on-call schedule.
  • » Ability to work in a fast paced environment and collaborate with various team members.

Technical Sales Account Executive - CT
We have an immediate need for an experienced Technical Account Executive to cover the state of CT. The Technical Sales Account Executive is expected to be proficient in the sales of the following: Networking, Storage, and virtualization/server platforms; switches; firewalls; perimeter protection; and various client support services. This position requires substantial analysis and individual decision making skills.

In the role of Technical Sales Account Manager, you will be expected to:

  • » Achieve a sales quota for materials, projects and monthly service contracts.
  • » Develop and sustain new client bases.
  • » Report weekly on the status of sales activities and lead generation to the Sales Director.

  • » Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • » Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • » Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
